First, I do not consider myself an Internet Marketer because my primary work involves technology consulting, helping people to understand and use technology.

Second, I know there are hundreds and even thousands of people trying to start their own home business using the Internet. Many of them feel they are “Mr. (or Ms.) Nobody Internet Marketers themselves. My mission is to help those who have the burning desire but lack the skills and knowledge of the technology required to build their own online business.

For the past 12 plus years I have worked in Information Technology as a technology consultant. I got started on the Internet in about 1992 using a Tandy computer and chatting with folks around the world in “text mode” only.

In 1994 I started to learn to create web pages using Notepad and Netscape at a local community college that I attended where I was taking a business administration course. Within three months I was asked to teach classes in the continuing education department of the college. No one else on staff at that time had the knowledge of the Internet that I had. A couple months later, I was asked to teach my Internet classes at another community college.

Over the years since then I have worked full-time in Information Technology while doing technology consulting with others and building websites for them. Currently, I am the Information Technology Manager for Becker Furniture World in Becker, Minnesota which is the largest furniture retailer in Minnesota. I am now in my seventh year with the company.

Last year my wife Leslie and I decided that it was time to start our own Internet based business. After spending so many years helping others to find solutions to their technology and Internet needs, we decided that it was time for me to put my skills to use and build our own business.

For the past year, I have been learning, purchasing and making connections within the world of Internet Marketing. On July 7, 2006 I launched my first product, RSS Content Goldmine with the help of a couple marketers that you probably know, Jim Cockrum and Glen Hopkins. Now, I’m ready to launch my newest project, the Internet Marketing Technology Workshop.
