Hepsia's File Manager will let you manage the content of your site using simple point & click actions. Right-click context menus allow rapid access to different file management options, whereas handy drag-and-drop functionality will allow you to upload new files from your desktop PC in an instant. You will also find integrated file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to zip and unarchive files easily too.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your desktop computer. The built-in drag & drop functionality will enable you to easily transfer files between your PC and the server. Just select the file that you want to upload from your desktop computer and then drag it into your browser. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your hard disk. Besides, you can download files and even folders to your PC by pushing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager GUI, you can create a new file or folder with just one click of the mouse. All action buttons are conveniently placed above the file/folder list and you can modify your files effortlessly. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, preview the contents of a file or edit its permissions, delete a file, etc.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager interface, you will be able to archive and uncompress all types of files. It does work remarkably fast - just select the files you would like to compress and push the Compress button. You can even select the archive type (.rar, .zip, etc.). It is just as easy to extract an archive file to a chosen directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager user interface, you really do not need any external pieces of software in order to modify your files. There is an image viewer, which allows you to view the contents of your image files to get a clue about how the images will in fact appear online. In addition, you will find a set of built-in file editors, which will grant you absolute authority over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are meant for more proficient individuals, whereas the WYSIWYG editor (where you can view all HTML code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced users.
